Bordeaux<\/strong><\/a> hat seit 2013<\/strong> eine neue Garonne Br\u00fccke<\/strong> , die pont Chaban-Delmas<\/strong>. Bis dahin konnte die Garonne \u00fcberquert werden \u00fcber die pont d’Aquitaine (Br\u00fccke des Autobahn-Rings Rocade) sowie die sch\u00f6ne pont de pierre<\/a> und die pont St. Jean. Zwischen beiden entstand bis 2013 neu die 433 Meter lange ‚pont Bacalan – Bastide‘ (vorl\u00e4ufiger Name in der bau-Phase, Bacalan und Bastide sind die Stadtteile von Bordeaux am westlichen und \u00f6stlichen Garonne-Ufer), inzwischen pont Chaban-Delmas.<\/p>\n

Architekten sind Charles Lavigne<\/strong> (u.a. als Architekt beteiligt an der pont de Normandie<\/a>) und sein Sohn Thomas Lavigne<\/strong> sowie Christophe Cheron<\/strong> (SARL Architecture et Ouvrages d\u2019art).<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Bauherr der Br\u00fccke war die CUB<\/strong> (Communaut\u00e9 urbaine de Bordeaux). Von den Baukosten<\/strong> in H\u00f6he von ca. 157 Mio. Euro<\/strong> trugen 105,27 Mio. \u20ac die CUB, 18,29 Mio. \u20ac der Staat, 15,24 Mio. \u20ac die Region sowie 18 Mio. \u20ac das Department.<\/p>\n

Am Bau der Garonne Br\u00fccke beteiligt waren Unternehmen aus Belgien, Deutschland, Italien, Spanien, der T\u00fcrkei sowie aus Frankreich. Die zentralen Elemente wurden in Italien (Cinolai) gefertigt und auf dem Wasserweg nach Bordeaux gebracht: die beiden festen Fahrbahn-Teile zu den Ufern sowie die hebbare Fahrbahn weisen insgesamt alleine ein Gewicht von 6.100 Tonnen auf, ziemlich genau das Gewicht des Eiffel-Turms in Paris.<\/p>\n

Bordeaux ist UNESCO-Welterbe<\/a> – das Welterbe-Komitee erteilte nach einigen Modifikationen an den Entw\u00fcrfen seine Einwilligung. Insbesondere mussten die Pylone um einige Meter auf nun 80 Meter H\u00f6he \u00fcber NGF (nivellement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la France) gek\u00fcrzt werden.<\/p>\n

Die Pylone der Garonne Br\u00fccke (siehe Fotos) k\u00f6nnen erklommen werden – in einem gl\u00e4sernen Treppenhaus f\u00fchren je 400 Stufen nach oben auf eine Aussichts-Ebene, die ein beeindruckendes Panorama von Bordeaux und Umland bietet.<\/p>\n

In einem der Pylone („aval“, auf dem rechten Ufer) befindet sich ein gro\u00dfer unterirdischer Bunker<\/strong> (5 Meter unterhalb des Garonne-Flu\u00dfbettes), in dem sich der Antrieb des Hebemechanismus<\/strong>‚ befindet. Zum Heben des 2.500 Tonnen schweren zentralen Teiles ist einzig ein Motor von 130 kW Leistung erforderlich.<\/p>\n

Das Anheben des zentralen Br\u00fccken-Teils wird erforderlich, wenn gro\u00dfe Schiffe (i.d.R. Kreuzfahrtschiffe) Bordeaux anlaufen wollen. Dies ist nach derzeitigen Planungen ca. 60 Mal pro Jahr erforderlich. Jeder Hub (H\u00f6henunterschied 53 Meter<\/strong>) wird ca. 11 Minuten erfordern.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr den Autoverkehr stehen je Richtung drei Fahrspuren zur Verf\u00fcgung. Auf den mittleren Spuren verkehren 3 Bus-Linien, sowie auch die Stra\u00dfenbahn von Bordeaux<\/a>. F\u00fcr Fu\u00dfg\u00e4nger und Radfahrer stehen getrennte Wege auf einer ‚Passerelle‘ zur Verf\u00fcgung.<\/p>\n

16. M\u00e4rz 2013 – offizielle Einweihung der pont Chaban-Delmas<\/h2>\n

Die neue pont Bacalan – Bastide sollte bis zum Jahresende 2012 fertig gestellt sein – nur drei Jahre nach der Grundsteinlegung am 9. Dezember 2009. Nach umfangreichem Probebetrieb wurde die Br\u00fccke am 18. M\u00e4rz 2013 in Dienst gestellt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Einen offiziellen Namen hatte die neue Br\u00fccke lange nicht. Im Gespr\u00e4ch waren als Namens-Patron Jacques Chaban-Delmas (2000 verstorbener franz\u00f6sischer Politiker, der u.a. von 1947 bis 1995 B\u00fcrgermeister von Bordeaux war, sowie mehrfach Pr\u00e4sident der Nationalversammlung) und Francois-Dominique Toussaint-Louverture (1803 verstorbener haitianischer Nationalheld, Anf\u00fchrer der Unabh\u00e4ngigkeitsbewegung und K\u00e4mpfer gegen die Sklaverei). Beliebter Name der abk\u00fcrzungs-freudigen Franzosen war lange: pont Ba-Ba.<\/p>\n

2013 erhielt die Br\u00fccke ihren offiziellen Namen: Pont Chaban-Delmas<\/strong> . Feierliche Er\u00f6ffnung war im Rahmen einer dreit\u00e4gigen Feier vom 15. bis 17. M\u00e4rz 2013. Die offizielle Einweihung der pont Chaban-Delmas erfolgte am Samstag 16. M\u00e4rz 2013 ab 10:45 Uhr in Anwesenheit des franz\u00f6sischen Staatspr\u00e4sidenten Hollande<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Die franz\u00f6sische Zeitschrift D\u00e9tours z\u00e4hlt im November 2015 die pont Chaban-Delmas (an 5. Stelle) zu den 20 Br\u00fccken in Frankreich, ‚die man in seinem Leben gesehen haben muss‘. An 11. Stelle ebenfalls dabei: die pont de Normandie von Michel Virlogeux<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
