Es ist die einzige im Grunewald vorkommende Schlangenart. Die Weibchen k\u00f6nnen bis ca. 1,30 m lang werden. Die M\u00e4nnchen bleiben deutlich kleiner. Es handelt sich wahrscheinlich um ein Weibchen. Das Erkennungszeichen dieser Schlange sind die beiden gelben halbmondf\u00f6rmigen Flecken am Hinterkopf, die auf dem einen Foto zu erkennen sind. Die Ringelnatter lebt gerne in Wassern\u00e4he, unternimmt aber auch gr\u00f6\u00dfere Wanderungen. Sie ist in diesem Bereich des Grunewalds (Sandgrube, Teufelssee und \u00d6kowerk) erfreulich h\u00e4ufig und scheint sich in den letzten Jahren gut zu vermehren.<br \/>Wie alle Nattern ist die Ringelnatter ungiftig und f\u00fcr den Menschen vollkommen ungef\u00e4hrlich.
