Am 29. September 1991 trafen sich ACT UP Gruppen aus Deutschland in Frankfurt am Main zu einem Koordinierungstreffen – und einer gemeinsamen Aktion, Protesten gegen die Haltung der katholischen Kirche zu HIV und  Aids: ACT UP Protest Dom Frankfurt .<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vom 30. August bis 1. September 1991 trafen sich ACT UP<\/a> Gruppen aus (West-) Deutschland in Frankfurt am Main zu einem ihrer Koordinierungstreffen. Und protestierten am Dom in Frankfurt gegen die Haltung der katholischen Kirche zu Aids und gegen\u00fcber den \u00fcberwiegend von HIV bedrohten Gruppen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der ACT UP<\/a> Protest in Frankfurt war \u00fcber die konkrete Aktion in Frankfurt hinaus zugleich auch eine Art ‚Testlauf‘ f\u00fcr eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Aktion der ACT UP Gruppen in Deutschland<\/a> – der ACT UP<\/a> Proteste im Dom zu Fulda, die dann am 29. September 1991 stattfanden und (im Gegensatz zur ‚kleinen‘ Frankfurter Aktion) f\u00fcr viel Furore und mediale Aufmerksamkeit sorgten: ACT UP Proteste im Dom zu Fulda<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auch beim europ\u00e4ischen ACT UP Koordinierungstreffen kurze Zeit sp\u00e4ter (21. \/ 22. September) in Br\u00fcssel war der Umgang der Kirche mit dem Thema Aids und die Frage wie ACT UP sich dazu verh\u00e4lt ein Thema. Die ACT UP Gruppen in Deutschland waren nicht allein mit ihrem Protest – u.a. plante die ACT UP Gruppe in Paris ebenfalls eine Aktion. Aktivisten von ACT UP Paris protestierten schlie\u00dflich (einige Wochen nach unserer Aktion im Dom zu Fulda) an Allerheiligen vor und in Notre-Dame<\/a> gegen die ablehnende Haltung der katholischen Kirche zu Kondomen.
