Nun haben auch wir es geschafft, gestern Abend gab\u2019s \u2018Kiss Me, Kate\u2019 in der Komischen Oper \u2026<\/p>\n

Zu \u201cKiss Me, Kate\u201d an der Komischen Oper Berlin ist ja fast alles bereits gesagt, in vielen begeisterten Presseberichten und z.B. bei Antiteilchen (\u201dGlitter Glamour famose Show\u201c).<\/p>\n

Mein Resum\u00e9: du magst Musical? Du magst Cole Porter? \u2013 Kiss Me, Kate ist beinahe ein Muss \u2026 Entertainment at it\u2019s best \u2026 \":-)\" <\/em><\/p>\n

(und \u2013 dazu ein \u00e4u\u00dferst lesenswertes Programmheft \u2026 u.a. mit einem interessante Essay von Susan Sontag \u00fcber \u2018Camp\u2019)<\/em><\/p>\n

Eines allerdings sei nachgetragen:
\nDie Komische Oper hat ja seit Zeiten Walter Felsensteins die Tradition, alles auf deutsch zu singen (ich erinnere mich bisher nur an eine Ausnahme). Diese Tradition ist auch sehr angenehm, dient f\u00fcr mich sehr der Verst\u00e4ndlichkeit. Allerdings \u2013 bei Cole Porter hab ich dann doch ein kr\u00e4ftiges \u201cToo darn hot \u2026\u201d vermisst, \u201cverdammt hei\u00df\u201d ist halt etwas anderes \u2026 auch wenn die Nummer szenisch einer der H\u00f6hepunkte ist \u2026<\/em><\/p>\n
